A new start - the next generation at The Plough Inn

After managing the pub for 20 years and supporting Wittfest from its beginning, Mel and Sandra Brown retired in November 2012 and we welcomed Liam Carberry and Kim Moody as the new landlord and landlady.

Liam and Kim aim to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, offering local ales and fresh traditional food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have been working in the hospitality industry for a number of years. Having completed their formal training in Dorchester on Thames, and they have close ties to the village of Long Wittenham and look forward to seeing customers old and new in The Plough.

We are extremely happy that Liam and Kim are very enthusiastic supporters of Wittfest!
